Sobre la posición
Reporting to the Chief Data Officer and the marketplace General Manager, the Real Estate Data&Insights Director, will serve as the change agent, constructing and implementing the vision for transforming data into actionable insights, and applying modern data science methods to business challenges.
Establish, monitor and take responsibility for the objectives and strategy of the function in the vertical.
Coordinate strategy and function objectives with the general strategy of the function in Adevinta Spain (if any)
Ensure the company’s data is centralized into a single data Platform and modeled to support data analysis requirements from all functional groups
Work with all business units, and executive management to guide a holistic vision of the future of data, and help leadership plan for any changes in our data strategy or needs. An example is in-product analytics and analytics partnerships.
Own and drive the Data Architecture from Web Analytics, AB Test framework through to Data Pipelines and the Data Platform
Responsible for the people of the assigned function (attract, selection, development, assessment retrain,. ..)
As a member of the MT of the vertical: you can take a General Manager position when required, representing the management of the vertical . Get involved in the dynamics of management. Align PEAK teams in the definition of OKRs. Gemba walks, help to solve blockages and participate as owners.
Oversees and monitors all activities of the data analytics,data engineering and data science departments and personnel
Be an evangelist and organizational thought leader for how to best use data and research insights to guide decision-making
Empower Analysts, Data Scientists and Engineers to join you in implementing the data strategy
Work closely Product Management to influence product development
Responsible for the budget associated with the function, both the monetary and people / equipment costs, as well as the revenues, if applicable.
Provide guidance to the management team and functional leaders on KPI's, metrics, and business decisions including accurate analysis of user and business data
Drive deep Customer and Product analytics that lead to strategic decision making and actionable insights
Collaborate with all functions of the company to ensure data needs are addressed, and the required data is modeled and available to analysts and end-users
Create and execute a plan to develop and mature our ability to measure and optimize customer success, product usage, mapped to our customer journey
Develop a roadmap for the data and analytics function that clearly defines ownership and responsibility between the central data function and the functional groups
Ensure that all transactional systems can communicate with the data infrastructure and that production data adheres to a unified data model
Build out processes that support the different needs of groups from full-service to self-service across our data stack
Lead the process of turning business questions, risks and issues into verifiable hypotheses, creating experiments and analysis to test them and make recommendations based on the analysis – including multivariate and A/B test analytics communicating results and making recommendations to key stakeholders
Bring machine learning initiatives from concept to production. Eg Predictive churn analytics
Translate our data vision into an actionable strategy and roadmaps, and own execution
- Strong communication and relationship building capabilities. Superior organizational skills and an affinity for detail
- Ability to operate in a Global Matrix environment. Resilient, able to adapt to change and implement changes rapidly; always seeking continuous innovation and improvement
- Ability to convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Exceptional ability to rank strategic and operational choices
- Experience in leading other managers or large teams of professionals
