Sobre la posición

Reporting to Adevinta Spain CISO & IT Governance Manager, the Security Engineer specialist role will join our Security Team. The mission of this team is to advise and monitor about the Security of the sites and assets belonging to Adevinta Spain. 

 

¿What will be your role and responsibilities?

  • Advise the sites on the Best Security Practices related to web and mobile application security

  • Analyze, Identify and propose improvements in terms of security 

  • Detect and report vulnerabilities on the web applications, mobile apps and infrastructure

  • Customize security tools with specific rules for each environment improving the detection of attacks patterns

  • Deploy and maintain required infrastructure for the tools related to Security

  • Enforce and help the technical teams to develop products with security by design and based on devsecops

  • Improve the security monitoring platform with alerts

  • Work with all technical, moderation & product teams implementing the technical solutions to mitigate attacks.

  • Build, integrate, and implement countermeasures (developing new tools, scripts or plugins) to be used across verticals to improve their Security

  • Help on the compliance of security and privacy regulations such as GDPR.

Requisitos

Technical Experience:

  • Proven track record (at least 5 years) in a security related position, specifically on web applications security.

  • You have hands-on experience at least on 3 of the following tracks: security testing, security monitoring with SIEM solutions, secure coding and code reviews, mobile apps security, web application firewalls, software development life cycle.

  • You have a security mindset, risk oriented; you understand the threats for web and mobile applications, and you know what are the mechanisms to protect them.

  • You have the technical understanding within software development to communicate well with developers.
